Official languages of the Conference are Spanish and English, with parallel sessions being either in English or in Spanish.
All papers are subject to double-blind peer review.
Authors will receive an email with the results of the reviewing process and the final decision of the Scientific Committee. Papers can be accepted in either of these categories: "oral paper" (oral communication), "interactive table", “work-in-progress table” or "doctoral colloquium".
Papers accepted as "oral paper" will be presented by one of the authors and will be commented by a discussant in order to encourage debate, improve the paper and provide insightful comments to authors.
Papers accepted as “interactive table” will be presented by one of their authors and commented critically by a President/Discussant, and will be debated by the remaining members of the table.
Accepted “extended abstracts” will be presented in “work-in-progress tables” by one of their authors and will receive comprehensive and constructive feedback from the Chair of the session. In addition, authors, when presenting their work, will indicate three questions on which they wish to receive feedback (theory, variables, methodology, or any other element still open or under consideration). This questions will serve as the basis for discussion among session participants.
Each author may submit a maximum of three papers to the Conference, either if he/she is the only author or if she/he is a co-author.
The inclusion of accepted papers in the Congress Program requires the registration and attendance of at least one of the co- authors.
Certificates will not be given during the ACEDE International Conference, according our purpose of reducing the use of paper. Conference attendees will be able to download from July 1 their own certificate in pdf, which will bring together all the roles that each one has had in the conference. This certificate will be a single certificate, and everybody can download the pdf by accessing the Conftool option specifically enabled. Paper diplomas will be given only to the winners and finalists of the ACEDE International Conference awards.
